Become a Women in Aviation member today and help us spread STEM to our communities
We are passionate about inspiring the next generation into all things STEM, aviation, aircraft maintenance, & manufacturing.
VISION STATEMENT
Create a unique and dynamic organization which strives to promote women's accomplishments in aviation and aerospace. Provide an awareness of the tremendous resources WAI and our chapter have to offer women in our industry and in our community.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Provide a local platform dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of women in technical positions including all aviation career fields and interests. We offer educational outreach programs and activities to members of the STEM and aviation industry, in support of young people within our community.

To combine our efforts in creating a new platform to encourage, support and
promote the world of aviation for our fellow employees and community
members through education, exposure and networking. In addition, our
chapter creates a positive supportive relationship between employees,
companies, customers and the community..
A major part of what Women in Aviation is all about. The WAI-CT Chapter is
raising funds to award scholarships to young women interested in an aviation
or aerospace career. More information can be found on our scholarship page
of our website. Please check our website often for the open status of
application. Please donate through our scholarship page.
Available to anyone in the community with an interest in aviation, including
students of all ages. Our chapter is comprised of employees from various
aerospace industries located in New England. These include Pratt and
Whitney, Collins Aerospace, United Technologies Research Center,
International Aero Engines, Lockheed Martin and the FAA.
Our members, with their invaluable wealth of knowledge, share and
encourage our younger generation to pursue aviation career fields and
interests.
